Unubiko Foundation Scholarship Program 2023/2024 for Nigerian Students

Overview:
Unubiko Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of families in underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and community development, has announced the commencement of its 2023/2024 scholarship scheme. The OCI Foundation offers annual financial awards to indigent Nigerian students to support their education in registered Nigerian universities. The OCI Foundation Scholarship winners receive financial support throughout the approved duration of their chosen programs in any university of their choice in Nigeria. The scholarships are focused on brilliant, exceptional, but financially challenged students.

Requirements for OCI Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship:
(A). FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS:

  1. A valid Government-issued identity (ID) document (e.g., International Travel Passport, Voter’s Card, National Identity Card, or Driver’s License).
  2. An official letter from your school (Head of Department) stating your full name, gender, matriculation number, course title and level, department of study.
  3. Certified copies (by a qualified legal practitioner) of JAMB/UME result certificate, Senior Secondary School Exam Certificate (WASSCE or NECO), a valid student ID for your host institution, a recent passport photograph, and a letter of recognition from the Traditional Ruler of your town confirming your Local Government Area in Anambra State.
  4. A 500-word essay about “My family.”

(B). RENEWING APPLICANTS:

  1. An official letter from your school (Head of Department) stating your full name, gender, matriculation number, course title and level, department of study, and your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for the years completed.
  2. An official statement of your result for the completed year(s).
  3. If applicable, a letter stating any change(s) in your circumstances (change in department, withdrawal from school, etc.).

Note: Originals of all submitted documents will need to be viewed during the interview, attended only by successful candidates.
