Nestled within the enchanting landscape of the Agafay desert, INARA CAMP (formerly known as AGAFAY CAMP) has been established. Spanning across a 21-hectare expanse, Inara Camp invites visitors seeking an overnight desert experience. Consisting of 18 tents, ranging in size from 25 to 36m², each equipped with a king-size bed, a lounge area, and a private bathroom featuring a hot shower and toilet, the camp provides a lavish and intimate camping venture.
Furthermore, Inara Camp boasts a meticulously designed swimming pool for guests to relax and a restaurant serving delightful breakfast, lunch, and dinner, catering to diverse taste preferences. Our commitment lies in delivering a distinctive experience to our patrons while safeguarding the serenity and individual privacy, ensuring the realization of their dream of a night in the desert.
The Desert Lagoon
The Desert Lagoon presents a mesmerizing vista of the desert, overlooking the canyon—a perfect spot for witnessing the sunset and relishing the swimming pool, adorned with a vivid blue backdrop and turquoise water. It stands as the ultimate retreat for relaxation.
Constructed in adherence to the Bio-design model, the pool is crafted from a mixture of sand and quartz encased in a porous resin. This unique material allows water to permeate, replicating the essence of a sandy beach, a departure from conventional tile or cement surfaces. The overall shape of the pool enhances the illusion of a genuine natural spring or oasis, creating a tranquil setting for our camp.
To uphold environmental integrity, the pool’s design eliminates the use of construction iron or concrete. The pool’s shape is sketched by hand, covered with a waterproofing layer, and then layered with sand mixed with resin, embedding rocks of varying sizes. This meticulous process enhances the perception of a natural water source. The finishing touches are applied by hand, and the porous nature of the resin enables the incorporation of massage areas, akin to a Jacuzzi, achieved through a nozzle system.
Adding to the allure, the swimming pool features a small beach area where one can recline in water ranging from 10 to 20 cm, all while gazing at the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and the canyon bordering the camp in the Agafay desert.
